3 days Sabah Trip (27-29 September 2013)

Another short escape from the working life=)
No la.. it's actually an outstation work at Sabah for 24th-27th September, but due to the client request to postpone so the outstation job was cancel.

However, thanks to the Company that I had a free ticket for return on 29th September and personally bought a RM66 ticket for departure on 27th September in the early morning. Baby also joined me for the Sabah trip=]=]

The 3 days Sabah Trip had really got me exhausted yet it's memorable=)
Window shopping in KK new town, Museum KK, Mountain Kasih Sayang, Mountain Kota Kinabalu, KK View Point, and also enjoyed the seafood=)

Weather is not good so cannot go to the opposite island. Its really too bad=( I will visit Sabah again..but should be Tawau?!

5 days Bangkok, Thailand Trip

I'm just ended my 2nd oversea trip--Bangkok,Thailand (11-17 Sep 2013). Another memorable trip I had since last year Taiwan Trip on May. Below is the 5 days itinerary of my Bangkok trip.

11/9/2013 Thong Lor
Due to the air ticket is grabbed during air asia promotion, so we couldn't catched a nice time for departure. When arrive Don Mueang Airport, it was 8pm.

Took a cab (cost Thb350) to our hotel--Lodge 61 Hotel.
After settle down everything, we went to Thonglor night market for our late dinner. Heavy rain during that night, all places were flooded. Luckily we still able to found the famous Mango Sticky Rice (Thb100).

Its juicy and superb yummy!


A different taste of Tomyam mee soup (Thb50) for the rainy night is so perfect, it was a small stall in front of Family Mart along the Thonglor road.


12/9/2013 Pattaya
Breakfast provided by the Hotel. Surprisingly it was our chinese food--Wa Tan Ho 滑旦河..emm..I'm not eating much because it was sucks...but the coffee was nice=)

Simply ate some breakfast before we headed to Pattaya by bus from Ekamai Station. Actually we wanted to took bus to Pattaya but bought wrong ticket, ended up we went Pattaya by van (cost Thb130).. get cheated by the seller! By the way, by van is way faster than bus though is not comfy. It took 2 hours to reach Pattaya.
We then took the taxi (Song-taews, also known as Baht Bus, is a truck-based vehicle with a pair of bench seats in the back, cost Thb 100) to our Hotel--18 Coins Inn --2 nights

We decided to rent a motor (cost Thb200 per day) for our transportation in Pattaya as the transportation fees is quite high.

After put all the important things into our "Hypergear Small Red Waterproof Bag" and changed our beach suit, we were ready to Ko Lan Island!! By ferry is cost Thb30 and took 20 minutes. There are several beaches in Ko Lan Island, we chose Tawaen Beach as it is the biggest among all.




We took the last route ferry back to Pattaya say goodbye to the Ko Lan Island with the sunset~
Then hanged out and turned a round the Pattaya night town with our rented motor, and walk along the Pattaya Walking Street. We also watched Pattaya Tiffany Show at 9pm cost Thb700. What I can say is its really a boring show. felt regret to spend so much of ticket fees for the show =(

We ended our 2nd day in Pattaya with Thai Massage which only cost Thb200 for 1 hour whole body massage. I love it~

13/9/2013 Pattaya

We were late for the 9am bus to Nong Nooch Village..but luckily still able to change to 1pm bus. So we continued our Pattaya exploration with our motor and a Pattaya map! We spent our morning session at Pattaya Viewpoint and Ripley Believe It or Not (we just go around the shopping center but not entered the museum as the entrance fees is too high..scare later left not much money for shopping >.<

The attractive of the Nong Nooch Village was the Elephant show=) 

We leaved Nong Nooch Village at 5pm and had our dinner at Pattaya largest weekend night market - Thepprasit Night Market.

14/9/2013 Khao San Road
Had breakfast under our hotel before leaving Pattaya=)

We took the early bus to Morchit Station (cost Thb133). Too bad we couldn't found any place or locker rent for kept our luggage! The worst thing was Chatuchak Market was flooded due to heavy rain from last night. So we decided went to Khao San Road by cab and check in hotel--Dang Derm Hotel. After check in, we walked around the Khao San Road Market and searched for lunch.

We then took Tuk Tuk (cost Thb 50) to N13 (actually is walking distance, we just want to try Tuk Tuk. its syok but dangerous!) and took boat to N5--China Town night market for our dinner=)

After that, we went to Asiatique the Riverfront for shopping by ferry boat again. There is a free boat provided from the BTS Saphan Taksin Station to the Asiatique Riverfront -it's about 15 minutes, the nice night view of the Chao Phraya river.

 



15/9/2013 Silom
After American style buffet breakfast provided from the Hotel, we checked out and leaved our luggage at the Hotel. Before walking to N13 Tha Phra Arthit, there is a famous beef noodles just along the road to N13.

We then took ferry boat from N13 to N9 Tha Chang-- the Grand Palace (entrance fees Thb500). 
** Remember to wear long dress or long pants for girls to prevent blocked by the security guard!


Before leaving, we also ate the famous dessert that opposite the Grand Palace.

Again took ferry boat to N8 Tha Thian -- the Wat Arun temple (entrance fee Thb50)


We only visited these 2 temples (that's enough I think), then we back to Khao San Road for lunch=)

Then took cab to our next hotel -- Take A Nap (Silom)--2 nights.
After check in and had a sweet bath, we're ready for shopping~ Silom Complex, Siam Paragon, Siam Square and Siam Center.

16/9/2013 Silom
The last day in Bangkok, wake up in the early morning, after breakfast we took BTS to Chit Lom Station to visit the famous Erawan Shrine.

Then we had our breakfast at Kaiton Pratunam (水门海南鸡饭).

After our brunch, then we Continued shopping at MBK, Big C (purposely went for buying the Tomyam maggie and Rocky) and Pratunam Fashion Platinium Mall.

Grilled fish (cost Thb150) as our dinner again but is at the stall in front of Big C.

Morning call from Hotel Staff at 4am as requested by us. After check out, 4.30am taxi to Dong Mueang Airport. Its the time to say goodbye Bangkok!
I will definitely miss the food here and the cheapest fashion clothes as well!

Grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary


 Happy 60th Wedding Anniversary (also called Diamond Anniversary) to my dearest popo and gong gong=)
Both of you are the most sweet and cute couple that I ever seen.

Singapore Working Trip (17-28 June 2013)

I just want to recap and write down what is happened for last two weeks.
Outstation job with colleague at Singapore for last 2 weeks, I was enjoyed the Town Visit during weekend.
My hotel was at: Santa Grand West Coast Hotel. Bus stop is right beside and opposite my hotel so its very convenient. Took the bus to Clementi MRT station then you can explored to everywhere=) By the way the food stalls beside Clementi MRT is nice and cheap.



After the 1st week of the job, we can have our free time during the weekend=)
Had a short date for dinner with my Uni Friend -- Nono (Ping Lun) at Friday night. 

Half day City Tour on Saturday with the hometown old friend-- Wee Sheng. We went China Town, Vivo City, Sentosa (Beach side).

and spent the remained half day for explored the city alone with the EZ-link card and Singapore tourist map. Proud of myself!!!


Finally met up my aunt and cousin on Sunday at their condo beside Keat Hong LRT station. We then went to Choa Chu Kang Mall for our lunch and movie (World War Z) at Shaw Cinema.
